For those who are looking for a straight forward review: get the milk and cookies For those who are looking for a anecdote to truly illustrate how good this dish is and the lengths I will go to eat it, here it is: My cousin called the Lolinda restaurant trying to order the milk and cookies. For context the "milk" is actually a delicious milkshake. The lady on the phone tried to explain to him that they can't give us the milk to-go because they don't have to-go cups but he is a strange (though he prefers the word eccentric) and stubborn boy so the woman had to explain this to him multiple times. He would not give up so easily. For the Lolinda cookies and milk he would travel through the fiery pits of hell. So made us stop at J-Town. We looked through the entire daiso for a container to hold the milk-shake. He even considered buying an entire pitcher and asking them to fill that up. He settled on a glass jar and a spatula (to scoop out every last drop) and washed both in the mall bathroom. After finally finding parking he walked a block holding a spatula and a glass jar in his hand. We were met with the manager on entering who seemed amused by his antics. Everyone was very nice and we happily left with our jar full. Mission success! 10/10 service just for putting up with him.

Lolinda is wicked awesome! This Argentinian steakhouse in the Mission District is the real deal. The steaks are cooked just right, juicy and full of flava, with that authentic Argentinian touch. The sides and starters are just as bangin', especially the empanadas and grilled veggies. The vibe is lively and classy, perfect for a night out. The service is top-notch, with friendly staff who know their stuff. If you're lookin' for a top-tier dinin' experience in SF, Lolinda is the place to be.

Lolinda never disappoints. Having been a loyal customer since pre-covid days, I can confidently say that the quality-to-value ratio at this SF gem is exceptional. The ambiance exudes a welcoming warmth, making it ideal for any occasion, and the service consistently exceeds expectations. During a recent group birthday dinner, we ordered a variety of their best hits: palm salad, ceviche, tartare, mussels, gambas, bone marrow, pulpo, steak, and pork chop. Each dish was flavorful and meticulously presented. While nothing quite reached the heights of the best tapas I've ever had, every bite was satisfying and well-executed. The allure of Lolinda lies in its consistency and value. The food is reliably good, the atmosphere is inviting, and the location is convenient. Add to that a level of service that always impresses, and you have a winning combination that justifies the moderate prices (for SF). This is why I continue to return to Lolinda time and again.

If you're searching for a top-notch steakhouse in the city, look no further than Lolinda! My anticipation was high after perusing the menu, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. Celebrating a birthday with 10 friends, we opted to share several dishes due to the enticing variety available. Here are the standouts that earned a perfect 5/5: - Gacho (prime bone-in rib-eye steak): The texture and flavor were exceptional. A definite must-try! - Yuca Fries: These were delightful, especially paired with the accompanying sauce which enhanced their flavor. - Morcilla (blood sausage): Surprisingly enjoyable with its unique texture and flavor profile. - Hueso Asado (bone marrow): Initially hesitant, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it and ended up craving more! The ambiance was elegant yet welcoming, and the staff were attentive, offering excellent recommendations that were spot on. Despite the upscale setting, the prices were surprisingly reasonable. I highly recommend Lolinda if you're in the mood for an outstanding steakhouse experience!

Wowowowow SO good. Surprisingly good! Came with friends and did family style (which they recommend). The outside looks like an exclusive club and the inside is HUGE! I was so surprised with how big it was - and it was full of people! We got seated upstairs which was cool to look down over the balcony. Our server was awesome and gave us great recommendations. Here's where we landed and my ratings: Cheese pastries: 5/5 (the butter spread was crazy good!!!) Ceviche: 5/5 (I didn't personally try but this was a fav of the table) Empanadas: 5/5 Cauliflower: 5/5 Chicken skewer: 4.3/5 (the chicken was so good and juicy) Flank steak: 4.5/5 NY steak: 4.3/5 It was so good!! So pleasantly surprised as I've never had Argentinian food before.

We made a reservation in advance for dinner on a Friday night. As soon as we checked in, we (party of 4) were seated at the booths --- service was very nice and rather quick. The ambiance is dark and pretty intimate so I'd definitely recommend this place for a date night. My friends and I ordered two appetizers: Pan de Queso and the Croquetas. Both of which were very yummy. We then ordered the Lengua, Gaucho, and the Matambre. They were all so tender (would def recommend going with medium rare!). My favorite was the Gaucho because it had the perfect balance of fatty and lean meat. The Lengua had such a yummy glaze too and it comes paired with veggies. We came pretty hungry and this was just the right amount of food. For dessert, we got the churros and the chocotorta. The chocolate to dip the churros was soooo good. And the cream that was paired with the chocotorta was honestly the star of the show!

Our party of four arrived with a bottle of wine to uncork for a reasonable fee of $20. The ambiance was vibrant with a high noise level, lots of laughter and jovial chatting. We were seated quickly and our orders taken promptly. Our server looked a bit stressed, but the place was super busy this Friday night. So we ignored his curt demeanor and experienced great service throughout our meal. Everyone is hustling in this restaurant! He kept our wine poured, and the food came out quickly. Everything was delicious. The salad was a refreshing starter with fresh flavors and a nice, light, tangy lime dressing. The octopus was good too, but didn't stand out with nuances of flavors like most octopus dishes. Nevertheless, if you like the simple flavor of octopus, it will satisfy. The chicken empanadas had a light fluffy dough which I prefer to the thicker variety. The inside was hearty, tasty chicken goodness. The main event was definitely the ribeye though- perfectly cooked and succulent right down to the bone. We all enjoyed the fun energy of Lolinda, food and service. The restroom could have been tidier though. Paper towels were all over the floor in one stall, and there was no toilet paper. Besides that, I would return to this festive spot!

Finally came back to Lolinda again. This time didn't feel as impressed as before unfortunately. We did family style again this time, and shared octopus and bone marrow as appetizers, salad, rib eye steak, and pork chop. Overall food were good except for the salad which was too heavy with the dressing. The pork chop was a nice surprise and it was tender and flavorful. I recommend doing family style for the entrees or it might be too heavy for one to finish. The service was alright. They made some mistakes with our entrees and I didn't feel they handled with care. They delivered our entrees wrong twice and were rushed to bring & take out plates to/from our table with lack of explanation/apology.

My boyfriend took me here for Valentine's day and we enjoyed our time. Our server Nefris was very kind and attentive, being that he was able to swap out our drink for another with no hesitation made us feel very well taken care of. We ordered the Ceviche de Pescado which was sooo good and it had so much lime juice it was so delicious. They made their own twist to a tostada with fried corn which was so tasty!! We ordered the (Cholgas) mussels that could have used a bit more seasoning but if you like your mussels in only wine sauce then order this appetizer! For our entree we ordered the 2 person Ribeye that was extremely flavorful and tender. This place is definitely for a fancier night out or date night but it was worth it!!
